Checking Accounts
Personal Checking - This is our basic checking account. It is free checking, with a $100 minimum to open.
Prestige Plus Checking - This is our premier checking account. For just $5 per month you get all of these benefits:
- Free checks
- Free cashier's checks
- Prescription & car rental discounts
- 1% earnings on the balance
- And much, much more
Prestige 50 Plus Checking - This is the same as our Prestige Plus Checking, but with a $4 fee and is only available to our patrons who are 50 and over.
Commercial Checking - This is our business checking account. It is free checking, with a $100 minimum to open.
Money Market Checking - This is interest bearing checking. Requires a minimum of $2,500 to open account, and you can make six (6) transfers from your account per statement cycle. $10.00 fee if balance falls below $2,500.
NOW Checking – This is interest bearing checking. Free checking with $1,000 minimum to open. $5.00 fee if the balance falls below $1,000. APY penalty if balance falls below $750.
Super NOW – This is interest bearing checking. Free checking with $5,000 minimum to open. $20.00 fee if the balance falls below $5,000. APY penalty if balance falls below $2,500.
Savings Accounts
Personal Savings - This is our basic savings account that earns interest. (Call any of our locations for current rates.) It is a free account, with a $100 minimum to open.
Christmas Club - This is a separate savings account that earns interest. It has no minimum to open, and checks are distributed annually by the 2nd week of November. No early withdraws are permitted.
CDs / IRAs
Certificates of Deposit – This is an interest bearing account. A minimum of $1,000 to open the account. Additional deposits to this account not allowed. Penalty for early withdraw.
IRAs – The Bank of Calhoun County offers both, Traditional & Roth IRAs. Rates are the same as our CD rates. For more information on our IRA’s or any bank product, please contact our Hardin Facility.
